BIODEGRADABLE Nitrile (Exam) Gloves

INTCO medical is focused on environmental sustainability, and INTCO’s biodegradable nitrile gloves are designed to help create a better environment.

INTCO is focused on environmental sustainability, and INTCO’s biodegradable nitrile gloves are designed to help create a better environment. The glove contains an organic additive which serves as the food of the bacteria and microorganisms in the soil after the gloves are landfilled, resulting an enzyme. Catalyzed by this enzyme, the nitrile gloves decompose into carbon dioxide, methane, and water. Methane can be collected and transported for reuse. The biodegradable nature of the glove does not preclude its use as a reliable hand protection. It has excellent tactile sensitivity, comfort and protection performance, which is a good choice in medical examination or laboratory work with higher protection requirements, personal industrial protection and other application environments.

FAQs

  • Unlike traditional nitrile that takes centuries to break down, INTCO's biodegradable gloves feature a special organic additive. Once disposed of in a landfill, this additive attracts microorganisms that secrete enzymes to break down the nitrile polymer. The process converts the gloves into water, CO2, and methane within a significantly shorter timeframe, without compromising the glove's shelf life or protective performance during use.
